Introduction to Massage Techniques

Prerequisites: None

This course is an introduction to massage for individuals looking to either provide massage to family or friends or for those wishing to further train to develop these skills into a career.

Day 1 of the workshop will cover the history, effects and benefits of massage, consultation taking techniques, contraindications, contra-actions, after care advice and the importance of correct posture. Students will be able to provide a nice relaxing back massage at the end of the day.
