Prerequisites: Students must be either qualified Therapists or Sports Coaches
The workshop is designed for those working in a sports and therapy environment. It aims to enable students to perform competent joint assessments and identify relevant bony points. It also aims to impart knowledge about common injuries that relate to the joint.
The one-day workshop covers the knee, shoulder and ankle. The workshop includes both theory and practical sessions and covers the following:
- Anatomy of the Joint
- Healing Process of Soft Tissue
- Muscular Movement of the Joint
- Practical Joint Assessment
- Common Injuries to the Joint
TBA 2008. If you are interested in taking this workshop please contact us to discuss possible dates. If there are not sufficient numbers of students to run the course, private tuition may be available. In this case the course may not need to run for the full length of time.
