Level 3 Diploma for
Reiki Practitioners

Prerequisites: Anatomy & Physiology and Reiki Level I. Any student who has not completed their Reiki Level I training with us will be required to meet with the course tutor prior to the course and provide their training manual from the previous course to ascertain their level of knowledge.

Course description:
As with many other Holistic Therapies categorised as "healing", Reiki has arisen from a non-scientific base. Its origin lies in the work of Dr Mikao Usui and the treatment based upon Buddhist teachings. Reiki is taught by a Reiki Masters but critical aspects of the qualification are to provide a regularised format to credit training for a practitioner of Reiki therapy. The treatment consists of having the client in a comfortable position, whether lying down or sitting in a comfortable chair and then placing the hands over relevant body areas. It should be noted that the client does not remove any clothing and practitioner must be attuned to the healing process.

This Diploma delivers Reiki Level II teachings, including practical skills, interpersonal skills and underpinning knowledge of symbols required to provide treatments for clients. Reiki can be usefully combined with all other complementary therapies to enhance treatments. The skills developed are beneficial for any career and are often considered a life-changing experience on a personal and professional level.
