Daniel treats conditions such as Arthritis, Back pain and sciatica, Insomnia, Anxiety and depression, Infertility and IVF Support, Neuralgia, Skin complaints, IBS, Vertigo and dizziness along with many more. A particular interest to Daniel Is in the field of Pain Management.

Daniel is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) www.acupuncture.org.uk and the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners www.nhsdirectory.org

Daniel's fascination with medicine started in 1998 when he began a course in life sciences and health studies at Stockport College of Further and Higher Education. On successful completion Daniel accepted a place at Manchester University to continue his studies in Human Physiology.

As a keen runner Daniel entered the 1998 Wilmslow half marathon, which resulted in a damaged knee. It was this event that changed Daniel's career path. Weeks after the run and several pain killers, a friend suggested acupuncture. With some scepticism Daniel undertook a course of acupuncture and was delighted with the outcome - immediate pain relief and increased mobility of his knee. As a direct result of this Daniel transferred to a three year degree programme in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) at Salford University.

Due to the dynamism acupuncture has to offer Daniel continues to enjoy the practice of his profession and will continue to research and promote its clinical application. One special interest of Daniel's is post graduate study in mediating the two disciplines of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medical Sciences. Daniel keeps in contact with his lecturers and has been asked to consider the role of clinical supervisor at Salford University's teaching clinic in the future.

Daniel has written a research paper titled "Bioelectromagnetism of the Human Body" which is due to be published by the European Journal of Oriental Medicine (ejom) later this year.
