Meridian Therapy Training was established to offer fully accredited training courses for serious therapists. We offer a wide selection of holistic and sports therapy courses as well as a wide range of CPD workshops for existing therapists.
We offer first-class training facilities with small groups (maximum of 6 to 8 students) to achieve real learning for each individual student. All of our courses are also complimented with comprehensive learning packages, which are constantly updated. Although we maintain high standards, all of our lecturers are relaxed and approachable.
Our lecturers are all fully-qualified teachers and assessors, and are experts in their subject field.

We are an approved assessment centre by the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) which is a Government approved Awarding Body offering National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) and other Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs). It has been in existence in one form or another for over forty years and has been at the forefront of developing the vocational system of qualifications in the United Kingdom. Remaining specialized in the areas of Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Holistic & Complementary Therapies and Sports & Fitness has enabled the company to gain an experienced team with the knowledge to stay ahead of the game in these areas.
In addition to booking a place by post or e-mail, we offer the facility for students to come along for a coffee and relaxed chat with either our Principal or Head Lecturer. This will give you the chance to meet our staff, see our excellent facilities, and to have a look at our learning packages. We will give you honest advice about the courses and career changes without the "hard sell". After all we want students who are committed and will achieve the qualifications with high standards.
We appreciate that you may have been out of education for some time, so you will be fully guided on what is expected from you and your tutor will provide guidance and advice on assessments and assignments.
Additional Notes
All VTCT courses include the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards. This course is a mandatory part of all VTCT Holistic and Sports Therapy courses. If however you have already completed this course in the last 3 years you will not have to complete this again providing evidence can be shown. There is an additional fee for this qualification of £15 for VTCT registration and certification.
For students to be registered with the VTCT, and gain VTCT qualifications, there is a one-off lifetime VTCT registration fee of £13.
Our VTCT courses are specifically designed to train you to the highest professional standard. The courses are intensive and will require home study including assignments, case studies and Anatomy & Physiology as required. A portfolio of evidence must be submitted and a final assessment taken before your certificate will be awarded.
Comprehensive learning packs are also provided.
Refreshments are provided throughout the day and a light lunch will be provided.
Deposit/Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 50% is required for all courses to secure your place. Your deposit will be refunded in full if you give notice to cancel at least 14 days in advance. If you cancel after this period there will be a £15 admin charge.
In the unlikely event of Meridian Therapy Training cancelling a course, a full refund will be given. The full amount of the course fees will be required prior to the course start date.
For courses with prerequisites, evidence must be shown prior to the first day of your course.
